Gosh, i hope so, someone in my AL-only league has him…..

dont the nats read the internet? I mean do a quick google search for Jermaine Dye and you will stumble upon mounds of research suggesting dye cannot play in the field.

That combined with his horrid stretch run should be enough to turn them away. I love hating the nats!

I really like Carlos Gonzalez this year — not too sure about Jones or McGehee (especially with no glove Gamel lurking).

However, they shouldn’t cost much and were real contributors last year. so in deep leagues, like NL-onlys, they are pretty good, cheap plays.

Anyway it was enjoyable. But as they say the movie is never as good as the book. Maybe it was cause Jed was too over the top but in his defense that was Sam did in the book as well.

Saw the movie, thought it was pretty good.

Jed was not an average Joe IMO. The guy was a nut job. Not the kind of guy I would want in any of my leagues.

The quote of the movie came from Ron Shandler: ” second place is first loser”

Thanks for these articles. I agree with much of what you say here. Like the other guy I’m in a 7×7 so it really skews the rankings from anyone’s 5×5 list or any ADP lists I see.

My cats:
R, H, HR, RBI, SB, AVE, SLG

Nearly makes me wish I were in a 5×5 so I could take better advantage of people that overrate the sexy players. Unfortunately those overrated guys are exactly the ones I need.

Well, I just cut someone to pick up Morales. Then again, my league is one where owners draft closer handcuffs – every closer was gone by the 16th round and virtually every top “backup” was taken too.

– don’t fish for a player who may be worthless by cutting a guy you just drafted. This is not your last chance to grab a closer, and these guys are really not that great.

Last season after one of my drafts, but before opening day I decided I had a surplus of second baseman and needed a back-up catcher more–even though I drafted Brian McCann. In order to free up a spot for Miguel Olivo, I released Aaron Hill. I’m still ashamed of myself.
