Our goal is to be the best free source of fantasy baseball information and analysis on the web. Featuring a strong cast of experts, FB101 is dedicated to delivering superior content, including articles, insight, innovative strategies, a blog, up-to-date news, and a unique degree of interactivity with users.

Why We’re The Best ~ Fantasy Baseball 101 is different from other sports websites for many reasons. First, its focus is solely on fantasy baseball. We do not dilute our content by covering multiple sports. Second, no subscription is required to enjoy the articles, player rankings, or fun & games content on FB101. Third, its interactivity with users makes FB101 a forum that players can turn to for insight, expert advice, team evaluations, mediation of trades and league issues, and for testing your knowledge in our fun and games section. How It All Got Started ~ The origins of Fantasy Baseball 101 can be traced back to 1988, when a caring dad bought Glenn Waggoner’s original book Rotisserie Baseball for his 10-year old son. Modifying the rules from $260 to $2.60, ten fifth graders joined together to participate in their first fantasy baseball auction. So began (to our knowledge) the first children’s fantasy baseball league in the world. It has been 21 years since the days of manual stats, notes passed in English class about trade offers, and Yoo-Hoo showers, but our passion for the game has only increased. After a friend complained to us about the lack of quality information on the net while preparing for his draft, we realized we could do it better than the usual sources.

Our Expertise ~ Our experts have decades of experience in a myriad of league formats and routinely win their leagues. Two of our founders previously authored regular columns on www.rotowire.com and www.creativesports.com. In 2008, a couple of our experts successfully participated alongside ESPN, Mock Draft Central, CBS Sportsline, and Fanball in the CBS 2008 Flex League of Experts, and helped administer a Tout Wars draft.
