Evan Rosen: Evan is a founding member of Fantasy Baseball 101. He has played fantasy baseball since 1988 when he
was ten years old and his father organized a league using the original rule book by Glen Waggoner. Since that time Evan
has racked up numerous league championships in a myriad of formats. Teaming up with Russell Sandman, Evan has won
his main NL-only league four out of the past six seasons. An expert in auction and draft strategy, trading, and player
evaluation, Evan is also a regular contributor to “Inside Corner” at www.rotowire.com and “Minor-ity Report” at www.
creativesports.com. Evan is currently participating on behalf of Creative Sports in the CBS 2008 Flex League of Experts,
alongside companies such as ESPN, Sporting News, CBS Sports, Elias Sports, and Mock Draft Central.  When not winning
fantasy baseball leagues, Evan is a practicing attorney in Washington, D.C. and is enjoying the honeymoon period with his
wonderful new wife.  Although he is excited to catch some Nationals games in the new ballpark, he retains his allegiance to
his beloved New York Mets.  In fact, in middle school Evan sported the t-shirt "I root for two teams: the Mets and whoever is
playing the Yankees."  Evan writes the weekly column "
Strategy Session".
Russell Sandman: Dr. Russell M. Sandman grew up in New Jersey and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in
Biology, graduating magna cum laude from Binghamton University . Russell was then awarded a Dean’s Merit Scholarship
from University of Pennsylvania and graduated Penn with a doctorate. Following his time in Philadelphia, Sandman earned
his masters degree from Columbia University in New York , which he still happily calls home. Although not a single one of his
accolades or degrees is in the field of fantasy baseball, Russell prides himself on attaining a rotisserie doctorate after
playing for over 20 years, and in all league formats with a long and consistent history of success.  A founding member of
Fantasy Baseball 101, Russell is an expert on player evaluation, minor leagues and draft strategy.  He currently is a
contributor to “Inside Corner” at www.rotowire.com and “Minor-ity Report” at www.creativesports.com. Russell is currently
participating on behalf of Creative Sports in the CBS 2008 Flex League of Experts, alongside companies such as ESPN,
Sporting News, CBS Sports, Elias Sports, and Mock Draft Central.  Russell's articles can be found at "
FBAs".  FBAs, short
for Fantasy Baseball Awards, analyzes candidates for fantasy baseball player of the year, rookie of the year, pitcher of the
year and so on.
Joe Del Sole: Joe Del Sole grew up in Queens, NY and had the great fortune of becoming a Mets fan in 1987... not a
bandwagon jumper mind you, just a kid that wasn't previously introduced to this great game.  Either way, he can honestly
call himself the longest suffering Mets fan to have never witnessed a championship.  Yet it wasn't until 10 years later that he
discovered fantasy baseball, and shortly thereafter he discovered fantasy baseball's greatest secret - picking the right
competition.  How else do you explain finishing "in the money" over half the time and in first just shy of that?  However his
greatest accomplishments have been single handedly rescuing the third floor residents from Shady Homes Nursing home in
Alberquerque and being Fabio's romance novel coverboy stand-in while he was otherwise committed to his "I Can't Believe
It's Not Butter" advertising campaign.  When not trying to find extra time for his beautiful wife and daughter, Joe, a
co-founder of Fantasy Baseball 101, is busy constructing the website (which explains his ability to get away with lying
through his teeth in this bio) and writing "
Put Me In, Coach".
Lora Barnhart: Lora is new to fantasy baseball this year. She is a lifelong sports fan who has only recently discovered
the joys of fantasy sports. Lora won her first-ever fantasy football league in 2006 and is now the commissioner for her own
all-girls' league. Lora was raised in a football and basketball house, but she caught the baseball bug when she lived in New
York City for 4 years, including 2000, the year of the most recent Subway World Series. Since then, she has followed MLB,
in particular the AL. Lora is participating in several leagues this year, both public and private. When she's not watching the
ESPN crawl, Lora is a patent examiner in Alexandria, VA. Whether people like it or not, she is a Yankees fan.  Lora's
discoveries about this great game appear in her column "
Like A Virgin".  We'll keep you guessing as to the truthfulness of
the column title.
Rusty Evans: An avid sports fan, Rusty has been playing fantasy baseball and football religiously for the past seven
years.  Rusty typically plays in both keeper and traditional leagues and has a strong history of success with several first
place finishes.  A Seattle Mariners fan, (with some minor allegiance to his wife’s team, the Chicago, White Sox), Rusty is an
expert on free agents, and roster management.  In an effort to assist you with determinations on who to add and drop each
week, Rusty writes “
Easy Come, Easy Go”.
Brian Goldberg: An active member of one of the oldest Fantasy Baseball leagues for the past four seasons, Brian is an
expert at analyzing stats and making trades. As a Mets fan hailing from Long Island, New York, but residing on the West
Coast, Brian is practically glued to the TV day and night watching a wide range of teams.  In particular, he pays close
attention to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and the AL West. Besides being a husband and father, Brian is passionate
about every major sport.  As a businessman on the road a lot, Brian listens to sports radio all day long like teenage girls
listened to N'Sync in the 1990's. This gives Brian a chance to hear about any transactions that occur, opinions, injuries,
stats and a whole variety of information that help him manage his Fantasy Baseball team effectively. Brian writes the weekly
column "
The On Deck Circle" in which he discusses player matchups and other analysis for the week ahead.
Dan King: Dan has been a fantasy devotee since Bill Clinton was elected President, Eldrick Woods turned pro, and Los
Del Rio put out the Macarena. His fantasy delights include baseball, football, and hockey, and he has won numerous
fantasy leagues in all three sports, primarily in rotisserie format, but also in head-to-head competition. Dan’s weekly column,
On the Shelf, will focus on injuries in Major League Baseball and how they will impact fantasy rosters. Some people may ask
what qualifies this guy with such a transparent East Coast bias to lecture fantasy followers on injuries – let’s just say that
Dan has taken enough higher education courses for people to call him “Doctor” in both professional and casual
conversations. Dan is constantly striving to glean more knowledge in order to benefit himself in his professional world as
well as the world of fantasy baseball.  Dan is the author of "
On The Shelf" where he provides analysis and updates of
injuries.
Kevin Price: Kevin Price (or, quite legitimately, K-$ for short) has been fantasy ballin’ since 1997, when he was 15. Back
then, for someone who began collecting baseball cards 11 years earlier, the concept of “owning” Carlos Baerga and Ryne
Sandberg at 2B and 2/S was pretty damn exciting (it became much less exciting when the two averaged a .273, 53.5 R, 10.5
HR, 58 RBI, 4.5 SB line). By 2004, Kevin had developed into a savvy owner, as he seized on three simultaneous Johan
Santana mid-May waiver drops (he had started terribly) to claim victory in six out of six leagues.  Kevin loves baseball, but
when he plays fantasy he focuses on numbers instead of players. His strength is in discerning patterns; he has a feel for
which numbers to key in on to predict future trending. Furthermore, as someone who has played in a variety of leagues, he
has become expert at (quickly) utilizing a league’s nuances for his own strategic advantage. Although Kevin reads fantasy
columns on ESPN and others and has borrowed many insights from the Eric Karabells of the world, he's also developed
some of his own best practices. In “real” life, Kevin is an MBA candidate at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst set to
graduate this year. His short-term career focus is in brand management. He is a native Long Islander and a lifelong Yankee
fan. His column is titled "
CrackerJACKED". He is open to reader feedback (“I agree”; “I disagree”; “I love you”; “I hate you”)
and would also consider dedicating columns to reader-generated questions, if interesting ones surface.
Keith Reinfeld: A lifetime Yankees fan and devotee to fantasy baseball, Keith has well over a decade of fantasy baseball
experience.  A champion in many AL-only formats, Keith also competes viciously in NL-only and mixed leagues.  Born and
raised in Jersey, Keith is just as likely to beat you in a movie quote off as he is to win at fantasy baseball.  A competitive
pitcher in high school, Keith is an expert at pitcher evaluation, trades, and roster management.  When not flashing girls his
trademark smile, Keith works as a practicing attorney for a national law firm.  You can read Keith's analysis of recent major
league transactions at "
Transaction Report".
Drew Volturo: Drew started playing fantasy baseball about 20 years ago, when stats were collected from the newspaper
and tabulated manually (remember how awful it was to add all the hits and at-bats and then divide?); took a hiatus in high
school but picked it back up in college, playing in draft and auction format leagues and have fielded at least one team for
the past 10 seasons; finished in the top three a few times, but consistently led the league in disses, insults and momma
jokes; prefers National League only leagues but plays an all-ML league each year to keep fresh. As a political reporter for a
daily newspaper, Drew writes for a living but enjoys using the fantasy message boards to insert the emotion and opinions
that aren't a part of his stories. He's followed baseball since he was 7, growing up loving the hometown Phillies, but having a
deep-rooted respect for the Yankees, due in no small part to his father making him watch "Pride of the Yankees" several
times as a child. Although he rarely tops the league standings, Drew consistently finishes strong and keeps things
interesting with his trash-talking, trying to bring more fun to the strategic game. "
Roto Rantings" is Drew's domain, where he
shares his golden rules of trash-talking and other random insights and thoughts about fantasy baseball.
